This section contains information about the Neighbourhood Watch organisation and how our local scheme relates to the national scheme.
Registration
We are registered with Neighbourhood Watch. Our scheme name is Sherwood Dales Neighbourhood Community Group, and our registration number is 000181274. In addition to registering for this website and our other platforms, we strongly recommend that you register with our Neighbourhood Watch group.
Staysure 20% Travel Insurance Discount
Neighbourhood Watch have announced* that they’re partnering with travel insurance providers Staysure. Schema members can get 20% off travel insurance by visiting the Staysure website and entering NBHW20 at checkout, or calling their team on 0333 049 7674.

Knowledge Hub
Neighbourhood Watch runs a Knowledge Hub, with a host of information, resources and ideas relating to Neighbourhood Watch schemes, including activity and event ideas, training, forums, guidelines and support.
Be warned though, when you open the page a doorbell sound plays, which may make you jump if you’re not expecting it!
Public Liability Insurance
An important part of our registration with the Neighbourhood Watch is that our events and activities are covered by their public liability insurance, as long as our safeguarding policy is followed, and that a risk assessment is performed for each individual event/activity.
