Rob Mabbott – Director and Co-Chair
Rob has been a resident of Sherwood Dales since 1990, having originally lived on Ridsdale Road and now residing on Arndale Road. He has previously worked in a variety of roles at Severn Trent, ranging from finance to sewage treatment. Rob also ran a small landscaping services business with his late brother, Richard, and volunteered as an adviser with Citizens Advice for five years.
Often seen around the estate with his black Labrador, Wilson, Rob is actively involved in a number of volunteering activities across Sherwood and the wider city. These include litter picking and projects involving street art, driven by his strong passion for improving the environment in which we live. Rob also firmly believes that communities are far stronger when working collectively, particularly when seeking to achieve improvements involving public bodies such as the council and the police.
