Thrive
Thrive offers free personalised health and wellbeing programmes for people who want support with goals such as moving more, losing weight, stopping smoking, or improving general wellbeing. The service is funded by Nottingham City Council and is generally aimed at people who live in, or are registered with a GP in, the City of Nottingham.

New Bestwood and Sherwood Dementia Hub
A monthly support hub for anyone affected by dementia, including people living with dementia, family members, friends and carers.
Run with Alzheimer’s Society and PCN 5 Social Prescribing Link Workers, the hub offers a welcoming place to get emotional, practical and social support. Visitors can access information and guidance, help with next steps and future planning, links to local dementia services, and support aimed at preventing crisis situations and maintaining quality of life.
When: 3rd Wednesday of every month, 1:00pm–3:00pm.
Where: The Blue Room, Sherwood Manor, 635 Mansfield Road, Sherwood, NG5 2FX.

Connect to Work
Free, personalised support for people who want help moving closer to employment, training, or their personal goals.
Connect to Work offers friendly, tailored support at a pace that works for the individual. This can include one-to-one guidance and mentoring, help with CVs, job searches and applications, access to training and skills development, and support with overcoming barriers and building confidence.
The service is designed around each person’s own journey and goals, helping them take practical next steps in a supportive way.
Connect to Work is managed by the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA). Visit the EMCCA Connect to Work website to learn more about the programme, check the eligibility criteria and submit an expression of interest.
