  • Weaving Gardens and Spinning Drive became part of our community.
  • Installed new welcome signs at entrances to the estate.
  • Fixed our existing Neighbourhood Watch signs which had slipped or moved.

  • Repainted the green service boxes by the bollards on Ribblesdale Road.

  • The council approved a budget for plants and aggregate for the rain gardens.

  • Volunteer gardening sessions continued, also focusing on weeds and verges.
  • Started monthly drop-ins at The Vale Hotel during the day.

  • As per our update, we cleared ivy, filled potholes and removed a root.
  • Area-wide network of litter picking volunteers established.
  • Ivy removed from the end of Covedale Road by Meadfleet.

  • Estate walk with the council’s Flood Risk Management team to discuss options for the rain gardens.
  • Estate walk with the council’s Tree Services Manager to discuss options.
  • Our first six Street Champions joined our volunteering team.
  • David Rice of David Rice Associates Ltd became our treasurer.
  • Residents invited to register with our new website.

  • Meeting with Councillor Nayab Patel to discuss better ways of working with the council.
  • First appearance of representatives of the estate at The Vale Hotel pub quiz.
