Summary of the First Volunteers’ Meeting
Ay-up neighbours! We wanted to give you all a quick update following our volunteers’ meeting at the end of July. Thanks once again to all who attended. Overall, the meeting was very positive. We identified a small number of priorities which we can start working on immediately, and generated lots of ideas we can explore as our group develops. In the short term the group will be focusing on the issue of weeds, speeding vehicles and better engagement with the council and police, led by our volunteers. First Community Update
Hello Sherwood Dales residents! Firstly, thank you for your patience – it probably feels like a long time since you filled in your Sherwood Dales resident surveys! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been busy shaping our community and putting key things in place – including email groups, WhatsApp channels, and a Facebook group. We’ve also set up dedicated channels for our volunteers and are looking forward to meeting with them on Thursday 31st July to keep things moving forward.
